Weatherization Technician: performing diagnostic testing and installing energy-efficiency measures according to approved work orders for households determined eligible for weatherization services under the various low-income assistance programs. Work includes, but may not be limited to, air sealing, weather-stripping, insulation, window repair/replacement, door repair/replacement, heating duct repair/replacement, faucet aerator replacement, showerhead replacement, installation of high efficiency lightbulbs, installation of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, minor home repairs and other related energy-efficiency measures.
Weatherization Assessor/Inspector: This position is responsible for performing home assessments and energy audits; completing diagnostic testing, determining the scope of work for weatherization installation; and conducting post-work inspections to determine compliance with program requirements and quality of work for households determined eligible for weatherization services under several state, federal and private assistance programs.
Program Assistant - Reception: This position is responsible for greeting and assisting the public in a pleasant, professional manner, both in person and on the telephone. The position is also responsible for performing routine clerical tasks, such as data entry, writing letters, maintaining records, creating flyers, taking meeting minutes and other support duties as assigned.
Community Shower Outreach Supervisor: This position coordinates and oversees mobile hygiene services (showers and toilets on wheels) for people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the program including volunteers, staff, data collection, reporting and working with partners.
Dishwasher/Prep Cook: This position is responsible for routine, skilled cleaning of dishes, pots and pans, food service equipment and food preparation and service surfaces. Position also performs basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and opening of containers, boxes and cans using approved food service sanitation and skills.
Community Shower Outreach (CSO) List Coordinator: This position helps deliver mobile hygiene services (showers and toilets on wheels) to people experiencing homelessness. Duties include orienting guests; coordinating shower schedules and sign-up lists; completing reports and data-entry; participating in team meetings and otherwise supporting the shower services team.
Weatherization Crew Leader: This position is responsible for primary field supervision of the weatherization field crew to insure the performance of diagnostic testing and installation of energy-efficiency measures according to approved work orders for households determined eligible for weatherization services under various low-income assistance programs. Crew Leader is also responsible for developing materials lists for specific jobs; working with the Scheduler to schedule job assignments; ensuring the correct materials are assembled and delivered to the job site; maintaining inventory of equipment, tools and materials; ensuring compliance with program, building code and construction standards and performing installation work as necessary.
